Goodbye to the old, HELLO to the new!
Starting January 1st, I’ll be moving into a new studio space, and I’m super duper excited! Up until now, I’ve been sharing a space in Minneapolis with a couple of other photographers who also worked on location and used the studio on a very part time basis. Well, I just signed a lease on a space in Newport, MN (just east of St Paul), and it’s all mine! It’s not a large studio, since I still intend on doing the majority of my work on location. But, it will be a great place to work when the weather is less than ideal, for consultations, and intimate portraits. I can’t wait to get in there and decorate! I may just be doing a little casting call come January should I feel the need to test out the studio setup with models.
Anyway, here are a few from my last session at the old studio. Bye bye old studio!

Thank you for visiting! I love what I do, and am honored to share it with you! I've been a photographer for 12 years and am loving it! I started out working in studios where I gained experience while learning and developing my skills independently. I've taken various classes on a variety of photography related topics to enhance what I'd already learned from experience. I began working on location independently part time in 2001 with dreams to open my own studio down the road. After I became mom to my first daughter Nina in 2005, I decided to take another big step and go full time with my business. I'm so glad I did!
