I had such a great time with Jen and her mom the other day photographing her for her senior portraits!  We started out at my studio in Cottage Grove, then headed out to the Golf course for some awesome outdoor scenery.  Jen’s a golfer, so we had to incorporate that into her senior pictures for sure.  So we got in the sand, the putting green, and the gorgeous gardens maintained by the Country Club.  We had to fight with a lot of wind in the beginning, but I think it really paid off – we got some really cute shots with her hair blowing off her face, which I think really added to them.  Thanks ladies for the fabulous evening!  I hope you love your sneak peek 🙂

I started out working in studios where I gained experience while learning and developing my skills independently. I've taken various classes on a variety of photography related topics to enhance what I'd already learned from experience. I began working on location independently part time in 2001 with dreams to open my own studio down the road.     I really love your work Kari! I am from the southern suburbs of Mpls. Someday, I want to mentor with you. I am just starting out (about a year), and have come a long way. But I am looking toward becoming even better. I love your skies and I want to know how you don’t blow them out!!! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
