Nina, age six | MN child photographer

It was a whopping 50 degrees yesterday, and it’s only January!  This is crazy – I can’t remember it ever being this nice in the winter.  Oh well, I decided to take advantage of it and took Nina out again, this time focusing on her.  My little baby girl has gotten so big.  She’s learning to rock the serious faces though without looking ticked off, so that’s a plus!  She makes for a fun little model, that is when she’s not whining uncontrolably about how her feet are sore, there are weeds by her feet, bugs that don’t exist, and that her neck itches.  Oh well – what can you expect from a 6 year old?  I think she did a mighty fine job 🙂

Thank you for visiting! I love what I do, and am honored to share it with you! I've been a photographer for 12 years and am loving it! I started out working in studios where I gained experience while learning and developing my skills independently. I've taken various classes on a variety of photography related topics to enhance what I'd already learned from experience. I began working on location independently part time in 2001 with dreams to open my own studio down the road. After I became mom to my first daughter Nina in 2005, I decided to take another big step and go full time with my business. I'm so glad I did! 1. These are gorgeous. Nina is so photogenic.

  2. Wish I had beautiful Nina to model for me! I love all the photos!! Question: Which lens did you use?

  3. Thanks! I used my trusty 24-70mm 2.8L for this shoot. That lens seems to be on my camera 90% of the time 🙂
