Cottage Grove MN newborn photographer | Baby A

It’s always a big honor when another photographer asks me to photograph their family.  I was thrilled for the opportunity to work with this beautiful family for such a big milestone – welcoming their much anticipated new baby boy into the family.  They came out to my studio where we did the family, sibling and lots of baby alone, then later that night we headed outdoors for a “woodsy” photo!  That last one is one of my favorites.  Since a part of baby’s room has a bunny, I took a photo of a wild rabbit the next day with the same lighting and combined the two photos together for the perfect final touch to the nursery.  Thanks for looking!

I started out working in studios where I gained experience while learning and developing my skills independently. I've taken various classes on a variety of photography related topics to enhance what I'd already learned from experience. I began working on location independently part time in 2001 with dreams to open my own studio down the road.
