Say hello to Natalie! This little doll face was one of the winners from my spring cutest kids contest! She came out to Lebanon Hills park to see me the other day. As excited as she was all day to get her picture taken, once she saw the camera she decided she had changed her mind. This little munchkin was NOT going to let me take her picture, no matter what! Anyone who’s spent time with a toddler will tell you there’s no reasoning with a 2 year old. So what do you do? Well, you trick them! We lied to this poor child so many times, telling her there’s a butterfly where there wasn’t, “Hey Natalie, look! A bird!” – there’s no bird. She wasn’t amused, but we got the shot! Then we decided to head over to the beach area where she perked up and had a blast playing in the water. Probably not what Mom had in mind when she arrived with her pretty little girl all dressed up with perfectly curled hair, but none the less, it worked 🙂 Behold Natalie!
