I recently had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful soon to be mother of two for her maternity portraits at her home and outdoors, along with her little boy and husband. Being two, the big brother to be wasn’t really interested in following instructions, so we improvised! The sweet expressions and personality I was able to capture from him were better than anything I could have asked him to do. Enjoy!

Last Friday, I spent the evening at Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis with little Lily and her parents for her 7 year birthday portraits. Lily is such a spunky little girl, which made it extra fun to work with her! We joked and laughed the whole time, she jumped around and giggled, got a little goofy, and struck cute and sometimes funny poses. She reminds me of my own almost 7 year old daughter in her outgoing personality. We spent a good hour and a half photographing her and exploring the park. After I knew we had a great selection of photographs for her, I suggest we grab an ice cream cone and get a few final images of her gobbling up her dessert. What better way to document age 7 than with a Dairy Queen crunch cone? Here’s the adorable Lily! Isn’t she just a doll?
